Default 75psi oil pressure at idle during warm up...

that sound right? It was in warm up mode, so it was trying to idle @ 2k rpms. Air was still in the line asd well...I hear that causes a high reading.

Mine does that when it's cold, too.

I got a pressure restrictor for the turbo line, but haven't started the car since. We'll see how it works now. I was smoking from the exhaust til the car warmed up enough to get the pressure down, tho. Kinda made me mad I fubar'ed my turbo, but at least I had a reason to upgrade!

That's about where mine is at during warm up, sometimes almost 80psi.

I had air trapped in my line running to the pressure sending unit for my gauge and it gave me lower than normal readings until I changed it around. 75psi from a cold start at 2k idle sounds pretty typical. It should drop to 25ish once warm and at a normal idle and rise to at least 60psi at 3k and typicaly 75-80psi under acceleration over 3k. I've seen my gauge nearly spike 100psi before when I had the turbocharger on the car.
