b17 junyard turbo t3,tdo5,????

Default b17 junyard turbo t3,tdo5,????

thinking of starting a turbo prodject. which turbo should i buy? tdo5, saab t3, or another one? i only want to boost 6-8psi on stock internals. i have searched and can't find hardly info on junkyard turbos for b series and especially b17.

i just want to know what would be the best turbo(from a junkyard) for 6-8 psi. daily driver, stock internals.

i just want it to spool pretty fast and go to about 8000 rmp

A straight t3 from any saab, volvo, audi, etc would do the job nicely for ya if you want fast spool up and under 10 or 12 psi. they are usually about a .48 hot side and .42 or .48 cool side. something like one of these( I got them off of an audi and a saab.)

A TDO5H is a good choice as well. You can find 13g's on any 1g turbo DSM with a slushbox, and 14b's on any turbo DSM with a 5-speed.

Also, look for a T-25 from a 2g turbo DSM, and all kinds of other cars.

still looking to see what turbo peopke are running with their junyard kit on a b-series. i have seen a lot from the d-series but that doesn't really help me to much.
