if you put a fuel injected engine in a carbed car you will have to conver the entire car to fuel injected. more trouble than its worth. best thing to do is find another carbed engine.

Rebuild, bore to 2.0 liter, get weber carbs and call it a day.

They're small engines and I dont think should cost that much to work with ... My old 85 had 100k miles on it, oil was still clean, compression was great and it drove super tight.

There's links around some places, I think 3geez.com is a start to find info on 2gen preludes.. there was a site somewhere that talked about dropping a B16 into a 3gen or 2gen and had a forum etc.

theres ways to get 200 whp on that engine..

2g heaven: http://people.clemson.edu/~summerr/2gsite/ Drivergt5 and jdm-et2 really know their stuff on the 2g. Check out 3geez too since you share powerplants with the Accord.

The carbs are rather expensive. This is a friends car and they really don't have a lot of cash to work with.

the carbs can be found for cheap, but still replace it with the same engine.

Whats wrong with it that it needs to be replaced?? I still recommend doing a quick patch up rebuild .. or even check out the local papers, those cars sell up here for cheap with high K's.

I am not sure what if anything is wrong with the motor. My friend was just inquiring on changing it. I do believe the carbs are screwed but I am not sure cause I have not had a chance to look at it yet. Where is it that you say I can get carbs for cheap???

Link works for me.

But yea, I've found some really decent priced cars on ebay. You might want to look there.
