Default engine cleaner?

have any of you guys have heared of a an engine cleaner seizing an engine?

No, i haven't. But what usually happens is water from rinsing gets into the distributer and ***** up the firing. It will eliminate the charge meaning loss in cylinder(s).

If you pour to much of any type of liquid in your motor you can hydrolock it. ( minus say fuel) Last i checked engine cleaner or restore or what have you, doesn't compress/combust to well. Its pretty safe to assume if you dump excessive amounts in your motor, yes you could seize/hydrolock it.

This is based on simple theory. I personally have never dumped engine cleaner in my compression chambers or anything.

Engine Brite or a Surface cleaner, obviously wont do any damage.
