question about suspension installation
not really a tech question...id really prefer not to screw my car up...so i think i wanna have my springs/shocks professionally installed, but how much is that going to run me...ive not spoken with an aftermarket shop yet, but meineke says 200+$...id rather screw my car up myself then pay 200 for installatoin...what kinda price should i look for, i know ill get flamed for not doing this myself....and i might have to...but what price and where should i look?
sorry i don't know about install prices, but i will tell you this. It's really pretty simple, assuming you can get the rear bolts off. All you really need are the right tools, a friend or two, and plenty of time (just in case). You can do it and you'll be happier you did. not trying to flame, just trying to help.
Dunno, meineke is kinda expensive. The one around me quoted me $295 + tax just to get my springs installed. Haha i just walked out without saying a word. Problem is, my springs are now just sitting in my trunk
All you gotta do is make sure the two rear shock to LCA bolts will come off. That would be the first thing I'd try. Watch carefully as you slowly untorque. If you're turning the head, but the other side doesn't look like it's moving, stop and get a shop to do it. If that part goes well, everything else should be a piece of cake.
Better yet, spray all the bolts with Liquid-wrench or WD-40 everyday for a week. The install is very simple. Check out http://www.bseries.net in the garage section. It helped me a lot during my install.

Anyway, like the others said, do it yourself in an afternoon.
