Default CRX FAN PROBLEM

sup yea i just finsih my swap and the car keep over heating after like 20 mins of driving. or what i mean is 20 mins in idle becusae of traffic. the car starts to over heat. not only that but my fan does not work can some one help me out please? thanks.

There are 4 things that can cause your fan not to turn on

1. Broken fan
2. Blown fuse
3. Bad sensor
4. Bad circuit

where is the sensor at and the circut?

by circuit im assuming wiring. first check the fuse...then you really cant do a wiggle test...but check the connection on the fan, use a test light or ohm meter. and if you cant figure out the problem...might have to cough up the money to get it checked out.

coool thanks. have u guys ever heard of buying a metel fan and then installing that becuase it works better and its lighter not only that but then u can stick a paper clip into the connector so it remains on all the time?

Yes, but if your not running a big setup its useless, your stock fan is fine.

cool thanks. umm so yea my fan is not working right now and my car is over heating that sucks. well thanks for all your help guys.

You can hard wire the fan to be on when the car is on. There is only 2 wires, power & ground, put the power to the fuse box under the dash.

Attach it to something that is only on when the car is on, like the radio fuse.
