I hear so much complaints about them but mine works fine and many other modded turbo cars use them as well. Rock solid

its not pos by any means. They do have tendancy to have lot of boost creep at high boost levels copared to the tial. overall they do what they do for 5-7 psi applications

i had a deltagate and it got stuck shut and over boosted my motor and slightly burnt my pistons. now i'm currently rebuilding my motor. i noticed one thing about my deltagate and that is there is a bronze bushing at the bottom of the diaphram where the valve shaft enters it. well that bushing had gotta loose some how and had slip down crooked cuzing the shaft to bind, not allowing it to move freely. so when i found that out, i started to checking out other deltagates and they were designed different. the bushing was still there but now it was installed from the inside so it cant fall out like mine did.
i think the deltagates are fine for under 10 psi. over that you my want to extra security of a quicker responding higher air flowing wastegate. plus Tail offers them in stainless steel for a reasonable price.
