I just put a 5gen Si cluster into my dx and everything works perfectly except for the fuel guage. It just stays on 'full' all the time. Does anybody have a remedy for this or know how to re-calibrate it? The sensor is fine, but i'm not sure what else to do. TIA

 

when you put a new cluster in, you need to set the fuel gauge to what the previous cluster read.

 

Exactly. What I'm asking is how to do that. It's not as simple as just moving the needle, because it will go right back up to full.

 

why don't you just reinstall it, but with the gas tank full
it could work, i think thats what i will do when i finally get another cluster.

 

haha, wish it were that simple. I'm pretty sure its just an open circuit, and i'll have to do a little wiring.
