Default JDM ITR's have governors ?

Accoring to the speedo in my R it will only go 190 kmh .... roughly 114 mph. Ummm .... that's not to fast. So I'm wondering what the deal is ... I mean can I peg it out and keep moving or what ?

No that's about it on a JDM ECU.

Why would you want to go faster, it's usually illegal!

IIRC, it's governed by the ECU. And you won't go any faster than that till you get a workaround such as different ECU or piggyback unit like the Fields AFC. That's only one I definitely remember having the speed limiter delete feature, not sure about the VAFC but it's probably the same. Don't know any other JDM products that offer this (but then again, I never had to do research on it).
