Metal to metal noise from rear wheels
I recently put on a new set of wheels on my stock 92 si. They are sized 17" x 7.0" with a 42mm offset. I noticed under hard cornering I sometimes hear a horrible metal to metal sound coming from the rear wheel well. It usually only happens when I turn really hard/fast or have someone in the back. I just got the car, and its got 212,000 miles on it, so Im hoping the sound will go away as I replace and upgrade my suspension. Could it be the control arm scraping the inside of the rim? I checked and there's like 3/4" or better gap between it and the rim. Could it be flexing that much? Do I just need to replace some bushings or something? I dont know a ton about Hondas yet, this is my first one. I searched, but didnt find anyone else with this problem. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Is it lowered at all? What size are your tires? Sounds like your tires are rubbing on the rear quarter panel lip. You can try rolling it with a bat or banging it flat with a hammer.
