how can u dial overlap out????

Default how can u dial overlap out, for turbo setup????

ive heard that u can dial ur overlap out by using camgears,
how do u adjust the camgears to do it?

It'll hurt your top end, but I'll do my best to explain it to you anyway.

1.) Get the durations of the intake and exhaust cams at .050 lift.
2.) Derive the overlap amount by comparing when the intake valve(s) close versus when the exhaust valve(s) open.
3.) Adjust cam gears accordingly.

I can't guarantee that this is a safe way to tune your car, but just out of curiosity, why would you (personally) want to do this?

i have type r cams and i have a turbo set up
my camgears now are set intake+2 exhaust -2.5
i still made 302 hp at 10psi
but i taking the car back to the dyno to retune and i was just wonderin what is best. we never touched t he camgears last time
