Is it O.K. to run Full-race turbo on stock '99 B16 w/ Hondata?
I'm looking into the Full-race setup and I wanted to see if I could get away with useing it on stock internals w/o problems. I have the Hondata S200 w/ 3 step already. I know that it would be a good idea to get the boost option for it, but besides that, what else should I get to run a "safe" Full-race setup?
Things I already have:
- Hondata S200 and IM gasket
- '99 spec. ITR valvetrain, cams, IM, and TB
- Fluidyne radiator
- Fal fan
- Oil cooler
- Moroso oil pan
- Oil temp., oil press., EGT, and water temp. gauges
- Greddy Evo. exhaust (I know their O.K., but I bough it 3 years ago....)
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
The rest is all stock. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction
.

Yes, just don't get too crazy on boost. You have to get the boost option. I would tune it to around 300fwhp, or more importantly, around 200lb tq. Will be real nice. My buddy just upgraded to a GSR/Full Race, was b16/full race ran 12.4's in a hatch on bfg dr's!
What about the compression ratio of the stock pistons? Will they be O.K.? What size injecters should I be running with a setup like this? By the way, I'm getting a CM clutch and ACT streetlite flywheel for X-mas. The quaife I'm in the process of getting

so I'll have time to work on it. Any other suggestions?

Compression no problem, you will hit 300hp on pump gas with stock compression. I would get 720's with resistor box, that way you don't have to upgrade later when you build the motor for more hp. I have RC550's now, but will be upgrading later too.

If it is setup right it will be fine. Look at Geoff's dyno plot. His #'s are killer and he is on a stock block. I would buy some large injector's and get it tuned. You will definatley need the boost option and if you drag race i would get the 3 step.

I don't have a full race kit but i made ok numbers for a stock b16, maxed @311whp 212wtq with tubular manifold, t3/to4e 60 trim, hondata s100, etc, boosted hybrid did the tuning
Im running inline pro headgaskt to drop comp. ~1pt and arp studs, If you interesed i have an extra 2mm headgasket and Some ARP's for a b16 i need to get rid of, im in Albany too so pretty close

Is that a gsr or b16 block? He never mentioned it on his post.
