Default Which Transmission Fluid?

I have a Accord Type R Transmission with the helical LSD and was wondering what you guys think I should use for fluid. I'm currently using Redline MTL.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies.

So having LSD doesn't change the type of fluid you use?

Hi Mark. It's doing great. Although I need to find out whats up with car. It's pulling to the left under accleration and then straight under coasting. There popping and clanging sounds coming from under the car. It's at the shop right now, I should know something in a couple days. Hopefully just a axle or bushing.

Maybe I should switch back to OEM. The few things I've heard about Redline kind of scares me.

depends. gear type LSD's, no.

Clutch type LSD's need to have a special tranny fluid used.

Synchromesh it's far better than Honda MTF.
They sell it at AutoZones Penzoil Synchromesh MTF it's around $5 Qt
or you can buy it with the GM Synchromesh MTF label for $10 Qt.
I promise you won't be disappointed.

gm synchromesh is way better than oem and redline i tried both and i disagree oem is not better than gm synchromesh. i havent tried the gm friction modified type just the regular synchromesh. I did notice after a couple of road racing events its doesn feel as smooth but i still dont grind like i used to with redline and oem
