Being from New England it gets pretty cold up in here as some of you may know. Right now its 19 degrees My question is about my drivers side door lock freezing every time its cold out (which lately is often). I know I can buy some of that spray that helps solve the problem, but is there a more permanent solution that I don't know about? I drive a 1990 Accord LX if it matters at all (which I doubt). Thanks in advance.

Im from central oregon so i have this problem too. the only solution i have found is the spray. not sure if there is a more perminent solution. do you have keyless entry or is the latch it self?

 

I have the actual latch. Stupid Honda won't let me push the lock down when the door is open I was thinkin of getting a keyless entry....how much is one of those installed? Thanks.

try lifting up on the hadle when you push down on the lock. that may work. most honda's wont let you push the lock down while the door is open as to not let you lock your keys in your car.... if not that your screwed
