Small Garrett gt2252 for b1ã2?
Hello to all, I am of Spain and I am mounting I disturb to b16a2, my question is that it seems to them the turbine that I have bought, ar of escape is 47 and the one of compressing is ar 51, is too small, to be thankful your aid, a greeting


i think i got that..
that is a pretty small turbo but for a b16... im thinking it may be ok.
try it out. if it sucks, sell the turbo and get something bigger.

That is small but nothing that wont perform for up to 250+hp and 10-14 psi of boost. It's bigger than a stock wrx turbo and I've seen those used several times on my friends cars(b16, b20) with great results and 15psi.
My idea is on 10psi or 200/210hp, then east I disturb is worth to me? subira well of revolutions to the red line? thanks to help me

So you want to make 200-210whp with 10psi. You should be able to do that.

from the looks of that turbo it looks perfectly fine for the b16. it will yeild fast spool with dent top end. The boost will not feel like a t3t4 reaching full boost but it will pull nicely all the way to redline of 8k. The b16 is a weird motor because it's only a 1.6 but it can dish out lot of air in the upper rpms so to find a turbo that gets good spool time yet no scrafice in topend power is going to be tricky.
try that turbo out. From the looks of it i think i has a t25 jdm flang so you should be able to use a greddy manifold. I personaly would go with the t28 .86a/r !!!

IM "HybridEF2" he has a 15G in his b16 ef with hondata and at 10psi he makes 210whp with about 165tq on that little blower he gets full spool of 10psi at 3500rpms (which is not bad at all) his power does slightly drop or platue off at about 7200rpms to redline though.
if he had a t3t4 at 10psi he would get full boost at more like 4600rpms and make about 270whp and 190tq. so you just have to pick what you want as in power band you want.

I think he is trying to say he want's to reach 7psi in first gear. I don't think you'll have a problem with that. The other post, it seemed as though he was trying to ask if it will run out of breath at redline, or if he will be able to RAISE the redline.
I think that turbo will be a nice match with your b16. It will make 10psi, no doubt, I'm pretty sure it will hold it to redline and beyond, and you will make almost 300hp if you max it out, without a problem.

that turbo will not make 300whp on a b16 unless you have higher compression, really good tuning & running like 16psi or more! ........ also that is if that internal wg can hold 16psi steadly w/out spiking.

I hit full boost (6-10 psi)with my gt30 .82 ex a/r in 1st gear! ball bearing ownz.
