Default can resetting the ECU give you HP gains?

if you reset the ECU in a 5th gen can you get more HP?if so how much ? Thanks

it is supposedly related to obd2. basically your ecu is a {arnold voice} learning computer{end arnold voice/} If you have mods such as an intake your ecu will adjust for the extra air flow. when you reset the ecu it goes into default setting so you can realize the extra power given by the intake.

some people swear by it , others don't. (whether this works or not). But it will only take you one minute to take the negative batt. cable off for 15 secs and put it back on, so why not.
