I have a 94 Accord Ex, and im just wondering if these cars come with a speed governor? Thanks.

 

They do, I know my car 4th gen tops out at 113 or 115 mph, not that I have tested it or anything....cough cough.

 

from what i hear, it's actually supposed to be 110 (which shows up on everybodies speedo at 115ish and shows how much the speedo is off up at those speeds)

 

I've had my fifth gen up to 125mph but then fuel cutoff kicked in.

 

94 ex... was able to get up to 137 until fuel cut

i dont think the ex has a governor, but it has a fuel cut off. i've gotten my 4th gen ex to 125 according to the speedo

 

why dont you and find out??

 

i had an intresting thought... what if you follow the VSS wire to the ecu, and put an inline switch so the ecu wouldnt be able to read the speed..but the speedo still work? im thinking about my 4th gen... i dono about other gens

How about 100 mph?

I drive race cars and getting looase or seeing a car spin in front of you at those speeds is scary to me, and I do know how to control a car.
