Default Explain this error "P1259 Immobilizer to PCM signal error"

I have a 2000 Accord SE with the 4cyl engine. Today the check engine light came on and around 3800rpm the engine started cutting out JUST like it had a rev limiter on it. You can put the car in neutral and put the gas pedal on the floor and at 3800 rpm it just starts cutting out.
Any Ideas?

p1259? Problem with the VTEC system. Have you checked your VTEC presure switch?
