Stock tire size for 1995 Civic VX
I just had a quick question on the tire size for a 1995 civic vx. I do not have access to my car right now and want to know the tire size.
I was pretty sure the size was 175/70/13 but when I entered the car info at tirerack, it said the stock tires were 165/70/13. At discount tire, the stock tire is 175/70/13. I just want to make sure that 175 is the correct size.

VX I believe are 165/70/R13 tires
DX and LX rode 175/70/R13 tires

I can confirm that the above info is correct.
And I would get 185's instead of 165's...

indeed the 165 is the correct size, I personally would go with 175 as there is more choices as far as decent tires. also for cars with swaps it offers more loading capacity and better handling.
Im pretty sure I have the 175's on now and plan on getting them again. Is there much of a difference on the speedometer with the larger size? I checked out the Miata calculator and the revs are about the same.
