y8 manifold on my y7 (automatic) IACV questions?
since i stripped the hell out of my screws holding it in place it will be impossible to reuse the IACV sensor for a y8 manifold swap.
So could i use the y8 IACV two wire setup and just convert mine to a two wire?
Could i just buy a EX throttle body and use the IACV off of that? (automatic or Manual)

Why don't you just retap the holes and install new screws. If your going to get a new iacv it needs to be for an auto, I'm sure you could rewire for the two wire set up,but it's probably a pain in the ***.
Block off the hole for the IACV on the back of the manifold and use your stock TB.
Has a built in IACV and is the same size as the Y8.

I can't the damm head of the screw looks like a fucken bowl, dish shaped. i was thinking maybe i could just tear away the plastic covering on the auto's Y7 IACV, and then turn the screw w/ pliers. But that's the only way this is coming off. Tried everything, the SEARS screw out thing, JB weld, the bangin of the the flathead hard. And drilling.
Nothing seems to cut it, so i guess i have to buy that new sensor. How much do you think they cost.

Did you not read this??
This is the easiest solution. The y7 tb has the IACV built into it. I would seal up the back/bottom of the manifold holes with RTV sealant and use the tb off the y7. I'll be doing this on my y7 sometime this week, but i'll be using a 2000 y8 manifold from an automatic <- less headaches
