Default Stock 2001 Civic Stereo

I like the stereo and speakers of the stock 2001 Civic EX, but i was wondering if i can add some Subwoofers in the trunk without changing the stereo, or splicing any wires, any ideas. I need the cheepest and fastest way. btw i am a 16 year old on a short budget

Ya man, but it's going to be a tiny pain in your ***.. Here's how it is... you splice off the wires with the two rear speakers in the trunck. With those tapped wires.. you can buy an RCA converter from like Fry's electronics or something.. that'll give you two RCA channels to work with.. it'll cut the power a bit, but you can adjust that... it costs like $10.... Additionally you'll need to run a power wire from your Battery to whereever you're going to mount your amp.... if you just want to go with a Bazooka, which really isn't that bad an idea, if you're on a budget, they come with a 200Watt amp already installed. Everything will be right there.. then you'll need to ground your amp.. find a bolt in your car attached to a solid metal part and use that as a groud.. if you have any questions... I've done this before... email me. Paulsmastr@yahoo.com

The 2001 Stock stereo is pretty damn awesome. Way better than any other stock Civic stereo. Sounds pretty good, Maybe that's why they shaped the radio so funky
