Default SC34 or SC61 on stock b16????????

Ok im building a turbo kit for my civic im going to be running hondata S200 and 550 injectors with a stock b16. Ive been talking to Kenny Tran of Jotech Motorsports and he is pretty persistant about me running the SC61 over the SC34 in my kit what do you guys think. Also Jotech will be dyno tunning the car. I asked Kenny about the spool time on the b16 he said around 5,000-5,100 i would reach full boost.

My old set-up was with a SC63, full-race on a stock b16. The The car use to have a b16 until I sold it to KAJ he is a ht memeber. You can search under his name for dyno sheets he recently posted. For the price the SC61 is great for future upgrades. I posted to show you that even a big turbo on a stock cr motor will make power. Kaj made 332whp 226tq at only 10psi stock gsr motor.
Good luck

The only thing that bothers me is that your only making power for 3k rpms.... The numbers, however, are very impressive over those 3000 rpms...

As long as i can make power before vtec and all the way to redline thats fine with me. How many races do you get in with a honda and shift at 3-4000 rpms.

Well Does any body else have any input on this any replies will be helpfull in making my decision im ordering the turbo tomorow. So far im about 70% SC61 i will hate the lag but i belive it will be worth it for the top end power.

i think with the .63 a/r full boost will be like 5500 rpm. of course youll get some boost before that.

what are your goals?
sc34 spools by like 3900 rpm so thats maybe what your looking for.
if you want more than that/more power up top. sc61 all the way

I want a good street car but im all about drag racing when its time i was told that the SC61 was the way to go but i dont want go with to much turbo. I was told by jotech that i could hit full boost around 5,000-5,100 i dont know if thats the truth but if thats the case i would mind the SC61.

I agree. I wish i had an sc61 for a more stronger top-end. the 34 is good as well, but that 61 is somthing special

thw wheel for exhuast is a stage 5 i beleive....oh

FYI: let Jason tune it in Janurary....trust me. Hell be at Jotech. I seen a few pistons from Kenny. No offenase. Just a helpful reminder
