I have a compustar 2000AS and am having a few problems getting it finished.
1st of all the remote starter isn't starting due to code #7 which is "reservation" and 2nd the alarm seems to go off all the time even with the alarm turned off, the reason I believe is something to do with the door trigger because when it goes off the remote says the door is open when it really isnt.

If anyone knows anything about these things any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Since your car is a manual, you have to have the follow the Reservation Mode procedure.

1. Keep car running in neutral
2. Remove foot off brake petal
3. Activate Emergency brake
4. Remove key from ignition and car will remain running.
5. Exit car.


Your 2nd problem.
Disconnect your door trigger wire and see if the alarm goes off. If this stops then you have the wrong wire.
