Default what good is a non-vtec car???

my 93 dx has no vtec. umm is it worth going through all the hassle to fit a vtec engine in it? if not then i guess i'll just get another non-vtec engine.
also, my friend has been telling me to put a cold air intake on it. how much will that help it?

Is it a hatchback? IMO the hatchbacks make the best hybrids, and any hatch is as good as any other. It's just a little more wiring for you to do.
