i installed an EX cluster into my 96 CX hatchback i noticed tehre was an area to plug a green plug into at the back of the EX cluster but i dont have one....anyways i hooked it up and the EX cluster TACH doesnt work... any ideas anyone?

 

i installed an si cluster in mines. same wires. all you do is plug in the three plugs. two big wide ones and one very small one. it's the exact ones that come off your stock one.

The problem might be the tach. Where did u get the cluster from? Was it working before u got it?

 

if everything is plugged in correctly, assuming it is, and tach still doesn't work, the cluster itself is jack up man.

 

got it from a guy locally only had 80k miles on it too.. anyone in socali wanna let me test there tach see if its my wiring or the cluster?

 

damn sounds like the tach i in the bay so cant help you there
