installing ex gauge cluster in cx hatchback (problem)
i installed an ex gauge cluster in my cx. the problem im having is the tach is off by about 500 rpm. when at idle the tach reads 0 and 6000 hiting the limiter. is this normal or is something messed up. i double checked all the connections and everything looks good. other than that everything else works like normal.. so im at a loss...

Re: installing ex gauge cluster in cx hatchback (J-MiGiRL702)
something isnt quite it works perfectly 100% even the tach its just 500 rpm off what it should be.. i checked everything out the only thing thats weird is on the back of the ex cluster theres 4 sockets and on the back of my cx cluster theres only three (the cx cluster is missing the green socket in the middle). also i checked all through the dash and couldnt find a green plug, and also couldnt find any splice's or cut wiring. anyone have ideas??

the cluster you got it probably bad, or maybe an auto?
the green plug is cruise control or abs (i forgot), the yellow plug is srs
any 96-00 cluster should work fine, im guessing your tach is messed up
