Default 5 lug on turbo eg civic, is it possible to run some 24.5 slicks?

i need slicks for my 5 lug turbo civic, i've run 24.5 8 13's but there isn't anyway they will fit on the five lug, do they make bogarts or anything that will work? i've heard of people running m&h 22/8/15 but i don't think they will be enough

thats fine, then it should run 11.50 then instead of 11.2.........it doesn't matter the things gonna run 15's if i can't find some slicks for it, and it's not THAT much heavier then 4 lug

yes you can run 8.5x24.5x15 from M&H or 24x8x15 from MT either or.
Im running 26x8x15 from Goodyear on mine.
You would stick with 4 lug if your smart. You will have the advantage over people like me . right off thebat you can get 2 more inches of sidewall if you run 13's.

i don't want a strictly drag car, my car is an si, it has ex power doors, fully tv system ect. i just got a good deal on the 5 lug and decided to put it on, i didn't intend to build a stripped out 10 second civic or anything, i really wanna road race my car but i also like drag racing, and having a turbo civic that runs like 110mph and runs 14's isn't cool you know

but why are you going to go thru all the headache of switching to 5 lug for no reason.
i will be running bogarts or welds this year.

if you are doing it for some good time slips just run it with the four lug for the track, not like it takes that long to swap it out...

i'm switching to 5 lug cause i got a good deal on it, and who wouldn't want it?? anyhow yea i suppose i could switch to the four lug but my only concern is everytime you switch the knuckles you gotta get the thing realigned so i'm just tryin to get an idea of what people are running for slicks, i know the 13 inch cx brakes and the m&h's i already have on bogarts would be the best but i wanted the 5 lug so im tryin to deal with it

swapping hubs at the track sucks *****. and you dont have to realign after swaps, sit i never aligned my car yet and i cant even tell you how many times the susp has been off and on it.
who wouldnt run 5lug? i wouldnt if i already didnt have it , theres no reason to, other than the WOA i got Type R five lug YO!

Do a search. I was asking this same question last week and got quite a few responses.

What kind of "road racing" do you want to do? Try a HPDE or autocross to get your feet wet.
