Loosen A/C Tensioner Bolt
Guys.. how do you loosen the a/c tensioner bolt? The one that's under the A/C belt. I can't seem to get at that bolt. Open ended wrench or a socket? Any easy way to get the A/C belt off?
I'm midway my JRSC install..
Please help..

Once I worked my hands down in there to it, I then took, I think it is a 12mm wrench and put it on the side closest to the block and angled it onto the head of the bolt while kinda of pushing lightly prying/moving the belt off to the side a little.
Try pulling on the belt a little towards the drivers side fender, and slide your wrench onto it.

I think I've always been able to get at it with a 12mm shallow socket on a 3/8"-drive ratchet then slap a 19mm deep socket with a 6" extension on the butt of the ratchet as a cheater bar.
its a 14mm and you should be able to fit a standard 3/8" socket wrench down there. if u have A/C, P/S or CC it may be a little harder to get to. i always go down there on the firewall side of the motor mount. i have all 3 of those ammenities and all i do is get a wrench down there, guide it onto the bolt with my other free hand then put a pipe of some sort over the handle of the wrench and crack her loose.
if u get real frustrated and that still doesnt work, just put the jack underneath the motor and remove the motor mount

A/C belt is tensioned by 2 bolts the gold 12 mm on that holds the pulley to the mount and the adjustment bolt which is a 10 mm
a socket and ratchet will work best, but you'll have to get the power steering belt out of the way.

Yep, you should be able to slide a wrench around the long nut, 12mm I believe. It will break loose and you then can loosen the tensioner bolt, which is 10mm.
BTW you got PM dude, Im not sure if its working right.
