Question about hood pins for carbon fiber hoods.
Do I REALLY need these for my new carbon fiber hood?
I mean, if my hood has a high chance of flying up and destroying my winshield while going 100mph then I'm def. gonna get them.
Because I personally like the look better with out the pins.
sorry if this is in the wrong section...wasn't sure if I was suppose to go to the cosmetic section or not.
Thanks though

Alot of people will tell you its straight, but I would never consider not getting hood pins, and all cf hood manufacturers recomend hood pins, some people might never have any probs, but theres been enough that have. Its a nice piece of mind. Just dont get cheap hoodpins and make sure nothing on them including the screws will rust, and if youve never attempted screwing into cf, then have a shop do it, its real easy to spiderweb clearcoat.
