im running a t3 set up on a b18b. im using a 38mm tial wastegate with a 3.5 psi spring. i put on a turbonetics boost controller cause my car was tuned for 5 psi. i cracked open the boost controller to see what the boost would go to. the psi didnt rise. i did this over and over untill it was fully open and the boost did not go up. i even tryed reversing the hoses to see if i hooked it up back wards and it still didnt work. does the top of the turbonetics boost controller have to be up or down? please help me. thanx.

it goes intakemani -> boost controller -> tial , the boost controller is used.

 

okay there should be 2 ports on the Boost Controller, wehre is the other one going? And it is going to the side port right? and the top is open?

yes its on the side port of the tial. so it goes from the side port of the tial to one side of the MBC, then the other side goes to the same vacum source as my boost controller and BOV.

 

hrm... honestly i don't like those turbonetics ones. i had a similar boost controller. yaniel (fst blk gti) drove my car and i swear to u the boost spiked so high i almost shat on myself.
