Default i got a good one for you ef swap gurus`

guys got a 89 dx hatch . put a 1st gen b16 in and got a problem . fuel seems to cut at 7500, or it`s the rev limiter. we have checked the wiring 4 times and tried a new dizzy and ecu . so thats 2 dizzies and 2 ecus this guy has bought and it still cuts out . we put a new vtec sensor on and a new solenoid , still does it . any ideas ?

yes vtec does engage but it cuts out at like 7500 and it sounds like the rev limiter . it`s a pr3 ecu and only code i saw was a 1 and i fixed it .

is it up to full operating temperature? the ECU has a cold start fuel cut-off that is lower than normal cut-off, so that you can't over-rev the cold engine
