Will Internals from a YS1 go into an S1 casing?
Good question. This might help, http://courtneyeg9.streetracing.org/btech.trans.y1.html. That's JDM_DOHC_SiR's write up on how to do 92+ internals on a 90-91 tranny. IM him for questions...good guy. HTH.
let me spell it out kwon= NO
the YS1 internals are much bigger than the S1, and the YS1 has three individual shift forks and the S1 only has two with the 5th/reverse fork branching out from the 3/4 shift fork! also the physical size of the two is different, the YS1 is about 1.5 times bigger than the S1. bigger synchros, bigger gears!
