Default friends type R eats up mad oil

whats wrong with his car? he eats up 3 quarts of oil every time he changes his oil. we just dyno'd his car too, only 168 sae whp with alot of bolt ons.

Mine uses a quart ever 2k miles or more.my compression #'s are fine.I get a little puff of smoke when I get on it.They pretty much all do it.

run a compression test....u might have worn rings...what color smoke comes out the exhaust?

only light blue smoke, but not alot. the tech guy said something about his rings not being broken in properly.
