B20 puts it down again! New dyno run!
170.8 HP @ 7300 and 143.7 TQ @ 4900
The differance from the previous run is a OBDI ECU w/ higher revlimit.
Although the ECU can rev to 8500...there really isnt any point in going past 7700.
Previous peak numbers were 164.6 HP @ 6900 (redline) and 141 TQ @ 4900.

I knew raising the the fuel cutoff would be really worth it. You can shift at 7500 now so you can stay in you gears longer. You should be tearing up the track.
Hello 13s
HX_Guy I think you might just have convinced me to stay non-vtec with my b20. You haven't even ported your head yet and still using the stock compression.

Have you tried adding fuel from 35-4500 you got a noticeable dip there.
Ok man you been adding a lot of crap to your car lately like every two days there's another post from you, time to get it back to the track and see what it does. Good Luck. My guess is 13.7

Last time at the track I put down a 14.2 with 165 WHP and 140 TQ.
Now I have almost 6 more HP..almost 4 more TQ...but also...more importantly much better rev range.
I had to shift into 5th gear before because of the low redline..now I wont have to. That should help right there.
Also...RPMs in teh following gear will be better therefore more power.
For example..before (shifting at 7000) the RPMs from 1st to 2nd would drop to 4100. Now if I shift at 7600...they will drop to 4500.
400 RPMs does sound like much...but Im making 15 more HP and 25 more TQ at 4500 vs 4100...thats a huge differance!
My guess is 13.90 - 13.99

so what did you change to give you the extra 6hp and 3ft/lbs? just the ECU?
The extra torque? I think cause of a little different fuel map..the OBDI ECU runs slightly richer (the AF Ratio shoed this) and that may have given a little more torque.

Next Im gonna try out a 64mm throttle body..hopefully I can gain at least 3-4 HP from that...
then Im all out of "easy bolt-ons"

try some underdrive pullies.........dont bother with AEM there just overpriced. OBX-R makes copies of the AEM pullies and they work good. good for another 2-3hp. make sure the intake manifold opening is also 64mm to match the T/B.......
i bet with some head/bottom end work you can hit close to 200whp..........

I dont think pullies will do much..if anything.
I dont have any powersteering..and the other pulley is for AC.
Im not gonna mess with any lightened crank pullies.
I think with com, pression around 11.5:1 and some good headwork...and the bigger TB...around 200 WHP and 155 TQ is realistic.
