remove what?

there are no carbon fiber trunks in production for the accord yet sorry.

kingmotorsports.com offers larger throttle bodies, gude.com offers larger throttle bodies, and i am unsure of any one else offering them. intake manifolds for the f-series aren't available last time i checked. a simple port and polish or matching would be in order.

why would you want to remove the rear deck?

even more so, why would you want to try to swap one in from another car?

yea i wouldn't remove the rear deck supports. the rear deck itself is made of cloth, it's an overlay almost. not worth removing unless you go full race. but i'd imagine removing the beams underneath the cloth would kill some structural rigidity.

what's wrong with it? i think it looks fine in 5th gens at least.

please dont abuse the word swap

you swap a motor, you swap a transaxle
you swap head

tell me how can a cf trunk improve your performance? swap a h22 there or a turbo

Your rear deck doesn't weigh that much, you would get less weight if you removed the rear seats your passenger seat etc than replacing your rear deck, plus it would look like *** if you didnt have a rear deck. Plus CF hoods weigh a hell of a lot less than stock. If your that concerned about weight you can take out your carpet and deading material (loud and ugly) and then you can put a coat of bed liner material on it (ugly and still loud) but only if your going full race......if you have a manny buy a lightened flywheel it will make your revs faster and 50-60% lighter than stock. But if you are running stock motor save your time and money and buy a h22 or a turbo for your motor. Just a suggestion.
