To those with Walbro intank fuel pumps...please read...
1) Are they suposed to come with a sort of wire harnes that clips into their pump, then into the stock integra wire clip? or does the stock wire clip plug right into the Walbro?
2) Is there something that's suposed to hold the filter on? like a retainer or something, mine doesn't have one. Thanks.

i just did a walbro 190lph in my teg last night...the previous owner of the car had a 255lph high pressure in the car and it is an all motor car DOH....too high fuel pressure, causing problems...that's why i switched it. anyway, the plug seems like the stock one in the tank, i don't think this guy changed it, it's too neat a job with retaining clips and such. so i think it uses the stock plug...sorry i'm a bit vauge about that but i don't want to give you the wrong answer since mine was tampered with before. as for holding the filter on, there is a tiny tiny little silver clip, it is a small little ring, it looks like a washer that flares up into a dome at the top that holds the filter in place on the plastic pin on the bottom of the pump. check your package, it is tiny and i missed it at first. now, be careful with the little plastic tab that it goes on, i dropped my pump and just my luck that tab broke a bit, not fully off but dangling...so i used a bit of super glue on it then put the retaining ring on and then doused it with enough super glue to hold a house down hahaha. hope that helps..

Im not sure how the Walbro would be causing too much fuel pressure since thats what u have a fuel pressure reg for...There is a return line to the gas tank...so obviously there isn't 255 liters of gas going into your car per hour constantly it gets sent back to the gas tank...

But with the 255 high pressure pumps, it will cause a richness at idle with the factory fuel pressure regulator. Factor FPR is designed to work with a factory fuel pump at a certain pressure/flow. The 255 flows more than that obviously so it will throw off the factory fpr. It doesn't self adjust as far as I know, so the car will run rich.

Bingo...you got that right AP...with a 255 high pressure pump and my b&m add on regulator the car would not come off of a 60psi idle which is insane...this is due to the high pressure of the pump. no add on fuel regulator could get it lower only a full unit like an aeromotive could have. there was no need for this pump in my car and caused more problems than anything....lesson here is bigger is not allways better!!
