how to "turn" a flywheel , like sand it
ok, so im getting a used ITR flywheel , and i need to clean it up and get it resurfaced , im hearing i can do that with some sand paper or somthing , cuse other wise i got to find a place and prob pay like 50 or so and wait half a day . . . so anyway , does any one know how to do this ??

yea, um... really anyplace with a brake lathe that is big enough can do it, but as for as sanding it, you can do that too, but if there are any big burns, its better to spend a small amount of cash and get it resurfaced.

Unless it's really messed up or old, sand paper should be fine. I did and it's been good for the last 3 years. My ACT clutch grips just as good as when it was new.

yea im buyin it for a HT member , its an ITR one , and i have a gsr so what kinda sand paper ?? and rub in a strait motion or rub in circles or what ??

But see turning the flywheel at a shop gets an even surface that you want, unlike you can do by hand with sandpaper. Not saying it won't work or help some but its not like getting it resurfaced.
have it resurfaced the right way to ensure precision.

how long about , cuse im buyin a new tranny and i wanna be able to take it to high RPMS to make sure it doesnt gring( synchros ) its a "rebuilt" b16 , and i not gonna buy it if its gonna grind . . .
