Default Throttle Body ?'s

I just installed an STR 68mm throttle body on my H22A. It didn't come with instructions, so I unbolted the old one and bolted in the new one. My question is that there are a couple hoses that are unplugged now and I dont know what to do with them. There was also something under the old tb, maybe a thermostat???. I took it off the old tb to see if I could install it on the new one, but it looks like it doesn't go on there. Here are the hoses that went to the old throttle body...

1. From the IM to the tb
2. From somewhere on the block to the tb
3. From the sensor that was on top of the tb

if there is no place to plug them back up on the new TB... then block them off and forget it.

you have 1 vac line that connects to the top of the TB, this is for your vacumme, connect to the evap canister.

You have 2 coolant lines under the TB.
1 goes to Thermostat housing, other goes to IAC valve.

IAC valve has 2 coolant lines on it, 1 goes to Thermostat housing, other receives coolant from the TB.

I would suggest eliminating this mess entirely.

1. Remove coolant line from Thermo to TB
2. Remove coolant line from TB to IAC
3. Take remaining Coolant line from IAC to Thermo, and remove from IAC.
Connect this to the other end of the thermo so that the thermo is simply 'feeding' itself coolant.

problem solved, and you have *slightly lower intake temps.

you can remove your fast idle valve and block off where it connected to the TB to correct the idle, but since you're in cali you might not need to worry about it.

I am a little confused. Has anybody installed a STR TB? I am pretty sure the thermostat does not go back on the new TB. What would be the best way to finish this install? Sorry for the nub question, but how should I block the hoses off? Where do I connect existing hoses to now, I kind of had a difficult time understanding what you were saying.
