what would be tha best tranny to but in mah 89' crx si? with a b20Z?

anything but the ls tranny. Unless of course, you're doing a lot of freeway traveling. dont forget to get lsd too!

Nah, the LS tranny isnt bad. I have it and the B20 can pull the gears just fine. remember it has torque (or more of it anyway, heh). I dunno how it would be with a B16 tranny. It'd probably be a tire spinnin machine through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

With the ITR tranny he would have to get the hasport hydro tranny mount kit and the tranny would be more than the motor. What ever floats your boat.

jdm s1 tranny is the one you want, if you do a lot of highway running switch the 5th gear for a usdm s1 5th!

i just bought a y1 lsd tranny for 650 shipped from a guy on here . can`t wait to put it in with my new bigblock , see sig . i would go with it but you can get a regular y1 and put in a lsd so you won`t have much down time .
