What The Best Way To Go, 1 or 2?
I just bought this system for my car but have nothing installed. Running into low money and just wont some opinions. Would 1 of my amps be able to push both of my subs and give me a good thump?
If I added a second amp would I be able to notice a good increase in how loud is "sounded"? Dont care about number or sq I just want a good thump. Im going to be running the amps @1ohm. Need opinions if the second amp additioon will make it pump a lot louder.
Thanks

What kind speakers do you have? How many do you have? What are the recommended power rating on those speakers?
Look at those numbers and find an amp that will suit your needs. You do not need to run an amp at 1ohm unless you plan on running alot of subs together. You can run two seperate amps to run your mids/highs and your lows or find a good amp that a amp to power your whole system.

I have a set of pioneers 6x9 and 6.5 that are really loud and crisp. Only wanna know about this amp question, if I will notice a huge gain from adding the second amp. I alread have both amps and may sell one if one is good and I wont see a big noise increase or keep it if I will.
Im just looking for parking lot thumping, disturbing the peace kind of bass. Not into comptetitions but want it to be loud as hell

That amp have plenty enough to push your 6x9 and 6.5 with ease. Since its only a 2 channel amp, you should wire the left side in parallel to channel 1 and the right side in parallel to channel 2. That amp was intended to push some subs.
A 4 channel amp that is rated at 4x75watts rms will be enough to run the 6x9 and 6.5. With a 4 channel amp you can seperate the left/right and front/rear.

ahahaha vigor5spd, Im not looking for these amps for my mids, Im looking to use these amps for my subs lol. AHAH I wonderred what you were talking about. Anyone know if adding the second amp will give a noticable increase or if the single amp will be good enough to push them? All **** listed in sig, using a 4g amp kit
who the **** has a 15? And yes Ill admit quality isnt tops on my list ut it aint at the bottom. Just need to know if I add this second amp will I notice a huge difference in how loud my system sounds to the ear and you know, like if people can hear it form far away and from inside the school and houses. All Im looking for. Just a stupid 17 year old with money to spent and no bills to pay
so 1 amp would be good enough to push the subs? Would I notice a huge differnce if I used both amps so both subs got 1000 watts each? I just wanna know if its gonna be a **** load louder then Ill do it but if not I could use the cash
what?? They are the exact some amps. Both Clarion DPX 1000.2 amps. You dont think my SUBWOOFERS.... Audiobahn AW1206T can handle them? Heres the specs on them if it helps anyone

Oops, i mixed up your what was being said with you and fastfurycivic.
If the amps the the same then yes, you can run a sub on each amp. You will need an extra battery. The two amps will put a strain on your alternator.

an extra battery is just going to cause more strain on the alternator since it has to recharge that battery also.
in your sig, it says you have a 135A alternator..is that a rewinded one or brand new aftermarket?

That alternator is more than enough. Just add up capacitors to the amps.
And answering you original question, YES. Two amps will sound louder than just one pushing the two subs. No only that but, less distorition if installed right, so there is your louder and better sounding setup.
Note: Fo sho they will hear you blocks away boyee!
