Hi, I have not been around for awhile on this board, but I know that you guys know everything about a prelude. Well here goes my story. Yesterday, leaving from school I was driving home nothing seemed wrong at first. After, driving for 10 minutes to get home. I notice a huge pillow of white smoke from my hood. I walked around the car waiting to see if the smoke would stop once the car cooled down. I looked on the right side of the car to see that there was a liquid of some sort running down my splash gaurd. Now at first I thought it was oil, but I am not sure. After, several minutes the car stopped smoking; so I pop the hood to see the same liquid dripping only on the right bottom part of the car. Now that liquid on my manifold could be causing the smoke, but I am not sure. Well today I drove it to the shop and it seems it does not want to stay in gear and also revs to about 3k by itself. Now what do you guys think it is? I hope its not my transmission going, however it has 250k on the speedo. The shop did not have time to look at my car today, but I am trying to get some ideas on what it could be? By the way its an automatic. Sorry for the long post.
