No, you can't use aftermarket pistons with stock rods. The stock rods are so small, you wouldn't want to reuse them anyway.

I'd get a set of crowers, or if you're on a budget I'd go with Eagle.

Crowers will hold more power but are more expensive. Eagles are very lightweight, and are moderately strong. Unless you plan to make 600+hp, I'd just go with Eagles. They are almost half the price of Crowers.

It looks like http://www.importparts.com has them for $365 right now for b-series motors. Not a bad price at all.

fix your caps lock before you mod your car.

The real reason you cannot use OE rods with aftermarket pistons, is because of the wrist pin design. OE features a floating wrist pin while aftermarket utilizes a locking c-clip wrist pin design.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I'm using stock rods on my JE pistons and my car runs fine. JE 12.5:1 pistons. All you have to use is the stock wrist pin.

Right on brother. I'm doing the same. Who told you guys that you can't use stock rods with forged pistons?

JE pistons and stock rods work just fine. However I wouldnt try to make over 320 whp on stock rods, too risky.

I'm running JE's on stock rods, and its fine. You don't use the locking clips, you get the wrist pin pressed in instead.
