I have no idea... but im from wa too and i have a state patrol comming up soon too. I was wondering about the carbon fiber hood, and if Amber corners are needed in Wa state
It should be DOT approved, most things that arent say not for use on public roads, or for off road use only. im pretty sure theres nothing to worry about.

DOT amber reflectors are required on all motor vehicles in the United States.
Practically everything on a motor vehicle, exterior-wise has to be DOT-approved for use on all public roads. Unless that CF hood is DOT-approved, you probably wouldn't pass. However, I don't think they would check, so good luck with your inspection.
My $0.02

Nope. In Washington, you must reflect and/or emit amber from the front corners. Reflectors are not required.
RCW 46.37.100
Color of clearance lamps, side marker lamps, back-up lamps, and reflectors.
(1) Front clearance lamps and those marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the front or on the side near the front of a vehicle shall display or reflect an amber color.
(2) Rear clearance lamps and those marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the rear or on the sides near the rear of a vehicle shall display or reflect a red color.
(3) All lighting devices and reflectors mounted on the rear of any vehicle shall display or reflect a red color, except the stop lamp or other signal device, which may be red, amber, or yellow, and except that on any vehicle forty or more years old, or on any motorcycle regardless of age, the taillight may also contain a blue or purple insert of not more than one inch in diameter, and except that the light illuminating the license plate shall be white and the light emitted by a back-up lamp shall be white or amber.
...and about your hood, you might wanna put hood pins on first. My $.02

Put the pins in your hood. You need them to make it street legal. I read about this on a site selling the hoods, I'm pretty sure it was importfan. They require you to buy the pins to make it legit. I hope this helps.

Your'll be better off with stock hood, a
plus if you can bring you ride to be as close as stock!!
For example if your car is slammed, raise it up
..if your mirrior is painted yellow, paint it black again,...bolt ons needs to remove and swap the stockers back inplace!!

carbon fiber hoods are prone to moving on the highway. and the material isnt as strong as metal. so the hood could pop off the latch and go straight for your windshield.
but as far as the inspection goes....i dont think youll have a problem. the hood really isnt part of any safety equiptment

i am an NYS inspector.. hoods arent a part of safety here as long as it has one.. doesnt matter what kind.... lol and you only gotta take off one wheel to check brakes.. lol they dont care to much for safety here i guess... but they are tough with emissions.. not as bad as cali though
In TX they didn't care about my CF hood, they usually worry about safety equipment such as tires, lights, seatbelts, etc. Of course you'll usually also have the ride height issues & whatnot if you are lowered at all, but CF shouldn't be an issue I wouldn't imagine.
