Insurance is going to be upwards of $1200 per 6 months and I have no pity for someone who knew they had bad brakes and didn't fix them. The **** were you thinking driving on bad brakes? That's only the most important safety system on your car . I'd worry more about your lack of common sense than insurance payments.

it all depends on how many points you got for them. assuming that you only got 1 point each for those 2 accidents, you can afford 2 more points until your license is suspended for a month? am i correct? not too sure about it, the insurance company can prolly tell you exactly how much it'll cost and so forth...all i know is that one of my friends has 5 points, that's after traffic school. He got suspended for a month, then got another ticket and got suspended for 6 months. He just got his license back, and if he gets a ticket within a year, he'll be suspended till he's 21. and his insurane is lyke almost $600 a month.

If you can't pick up a phone and call your/a insurance agent, then do an online Progressive quote. What you use on their site is exactly what they'll use when you call them.

your insurance will probably be a little high, considering your 18 and havent driven long and have 2 accidents that were ur fault, just get quotes from many companies and see who gives u the best price

i dunno about california, but here in maryland for young drivers, like me, who are on a "provisional" license, if you are convicted (plead guilty/just send in fine/w.e) of two moving violations (anything, speeding, illegal passes, anything.) you get a one month suspension and if you are convicted of three, you get a 6 month suspension. sucks. my court date for my second one is on jan 5. crossing double yellow line. cell phone went off, started taking turn too late. cop coming other way. stupid stuff. on me. i know. anyway. good luck.

well i'm sorry! if you me and come from a fairly poor family, you take what you can. plus, i don't work. i just go to school.. and if no one is able to drive me school because they work all day, i have to drive. i have a job now and things are slowly getting better. when you first get your license, of your driving isn't top notched and mixed it with a van with bad brakes.. yes, it sucks. but i had no other choice.
