u dont need to take out the bumper....it jus makes it a bit easier but the screw to teh bottom resonator is a pain..it might take ya a while..its only accescible from the bottom of the car if the bumper is not taken off...thas about the hardest part.
I just put a cold air intake on my 1997 Accord, pretty similar to ur car. You don't have to remove your bumper. Just remove the splash guard and your entire factory air system, including resonator. I will help greatly if you have access to a floor jack or something that can lift the car a little high. It makes it easier to see where the bolts are and what not.
If your car is equipped with a V-6, I have a link with step-by-step instructions and pics, let me know.

I did my 95 accord about 2 months ago and it only took about an hour and a half. the only thing that confused me was where to put the foam filter cap and putting the vacuum cap was difficult. You just have to heat it up a little bit with a lighter. But the foam filter cap is for Vtec equipped vehicles only (well only necessary). Make sur eyou put the splashgaurd back to lessen the risk of ingeting water into the engine.
This link is to an install of a 1990 accord. NOt 100% the same but may help.

Dont worry with our generation there is no modifications needed. I was surprised how much i actually had to take out. If you dont know what your doing 100% with reconnecting adn rerouting the lines i suggest having someone take a look at it when your finished or have someone do it. At the most i figure it would cost around $60.00
well good luck
