4 point harness in DelSol?
I was wondering if any of the Sol owners out there have done this to their cars??
I am aware this is quite a simple mod to do on all other cars but after looking at my friend's Sol tonight (amateur guessing ofcourse) I'm a bit confused as to where to mount the anchor....?
Any ideas?

If you aren't worried about actuall safety of the harness, then you can bolt it to the seat rails. I have a friend who just put a harness in his car for the cosmetics of it, and he just bolted it in with the bolts that hold the seat to the floor of the car. Like I said though, I don't feel that this is safe, and would provide a good, funtional harness for competition use.
Your seats are bolted down there how much safer can you get....those seats are designed to stay in place when a wreck occurs...but anyway...for the traditional harness(3 point, number of points are designated by how many places it bolts to the chassis) so on a 3 point harness two of the points bolt to the seat rails, one on each side, and the third extends to the rear of the car, on my car 95EX coupe it fits between the upper and lower portion of the back seat and bolts to where the center seat belt bolts to the chassis...but on a del sol I am not sure where you are going to bolt it to....but if you figure it out I have a 3 point harness for sale.
Good luck my friend, as if you're using the SRR harness, it won't fit the rear seat mounting locations due to mismatch in size. You could retap, but I know you don't like that kind work. Just run it out the top and tie it down to the spoiler.
Yeh my friend, I would like to know how are you going to install a 4 point harness in a DelSol!!
Once you figure it out, make sure you let me know. Then it will be time for my next mod!!

It is not recommended that you bolt the shoulder harness to the seat rails. I believe that it is specified in the instructions or any warnings that came with the harnesses.
Reason being is that if you were unfortunate to become involved in an accident, the force applied on your body through the harness forces you down, not pulling/holding you back. It can cause serious harm to your spine.
