dirty oxy sensor readings?
Would a dirty oxygen sensor read Leaner or richer than a norman clean one?
My autometer A/F guage reads all the way to the lean side at wot once i'm up to tempature and even at idle when it the computer is cycling between lean and rich it just cycles between all the way lean and stoich on the gauge. I know this can't be right because i have been driving on it like this for over a year at 8 psi and if i was that lean i would have blown the crap out of my motor.
so just wondering if a dirty 02 would read a false lean.
Also I have had a Idle loping issue and i noticed the idle lope is totally synchranized with the cycling of the air/fuel ratio on the A/F guage. As it cycles richer the idle picks up a bit and then when it goes back lean it drops.
Any thought or comments would be appreciated.
