Default oil pressure down 8psi after rebuild??????

well the rings in my car were shot so i decided to rebuild the bottom end with some fresh new rings. the old ones were getting bad blow by and my car started to smoke. after i finishes i noticec that my oil pressure gauge isnt acted the same. normal once the car is fully warmed up the oil pressure would climb to 80psi the kinda kick back to about 72psi at around 3500rpm(give or take a few RPM).....

now, with the car fully warmed up the oil pressure will only climb to about 72psi then fall back to about 63psi but still at the saem RPM(around 3500). its also about 3-4psi lower at idle

all i did was pull the head and oil pan. i didnt touch any of my oil lines or anything like that, just undid the lsvtec line from the head.....

i only have 3 ideas....

1. the excess blowby i was getting was creating more pressure thru the oil passages
2. my oil filter is backed up
3. my oil pick up tube gasket is leaking

any ideas??????

the bearings only have like 10k miles on them and still looked practically brand new excpet one of them that looked alittle worn but nothing to serious. i decided to replace it while i had it apart just for the hell of it. so basically i have 2 new bearings in the motor. why would that matter?

if your bearings are out of clearance it will cause low oil pressure.
