Default Body Work Tips

hi my project car has a little bit of rust. I had a question on what type of sand paper you use to get the rust off? emery cloth good to use? and what grit? does anybody use a chemical to breakdown the rust? like naval jelly? and just some general products everybody uses would also help, any How to Links? I found a few but were to commercail and just favored one product and maybe not a good one at that.

needed to be sanded as deep as there is rust.....MOST often this means replacing that metal that is rusted....
