Default EK Parkers...

thought i'd fit some parkers today and have encountered a small problem and looking to seek some help - RHS parker easy, either turn the lightbulb casing and it comes out, or disconnect the wire then turn the lightbulb casing and it comes out.... LHS slightly harder, water and power steering fluid in the way.... ontop of this, theres all this other stuff in the way like wires etc. anyway, i managed to move this stuff aside and get to the wiring/casing..... tried turning, twisting, pulling, and the dam thing wouldnt come out, stuck fuggin hardddddd..... any tips/ideas?

Parkers? WTF? Do you mean parking lights/signals? If so, the easiest way that I can think of is removing the front bumper and unbolting the headlamp assembly from the car and.... voila! You have much better access to the corner lights. Im not sure if there's an easier (or shorter) way of doing this...but this is the way that I change my bulbs...Maybe its because I have some big *** hands...Anyway, hope this helps.

you need to take the headlights out which involves loosening the bumper

take the screws from round the wheel arch and the plastic 'plugs' along the strip between the headlights, pull the plastic outer bumper away a bit and theres 2 13mm bolts to undo, they're a bit difficult to find

loosen these most of the way out then theres 3 10mm bolts round the h/light 2 on top 1 underneath

bit of leverage and careful twisting and turning to get the h/light out, put the sidelights back on b4 you put the unit back in, its a bitch otherwise

to get the orange bit out I tapped it with a screwy and hammer then wiggled the rest with two long nosed pliers, or lever the remaining bits off then shake them all out

painted some orange bulbs with silver spray then, do that first and they,ll be dry when you've done

took me a couple of hours and is well worth it, looks sooo much better

have fun

you dont need to take the bumper off an EK to take the parking/turn signal lights out

turn the wheel and go though your wheel-well
pull back the plastic that protects under the hood from dirt and then look up and you will see the tun signal bulb area
twist and remove
plain and simple

They are easy to get to.... If you're too lazy to move a piece of plastic and turn your wheel then take it somewhere and pay for someone to do it...
